What’s Up Solana Beach?

DONAVON FRANKENREITER, & CHEAP TRICK AT THE BELLY UP

Who?

Donavon Frankenreiter, a chill acoustic artist whose stylings are similar to Jack Johnson. Cheap Trick, classic rock band best known for their hit “I Want You To Want Me.” Take a look at The Belly Up event calendar to find more names you might recognize.

When?

Donavon Frankenreiter will play on December 29th and 30th at 8 PM.

Catch Cheap Trick on the 15th, also at 8 PM.

 

SOLANA BEACH ANNUAL HOLIDAY TREE LIGHTING

If you’re trying to figure out how and when to finally get that picture of the kids on Santa’s lap, look no further.

Who?

You can thank the Solana Beach Parks and Rec commission for putting together this festive, holiday event!

What?

Get the whole family together to enjoy cookies, a Santa meet-and-greet, and live music during the ceremonial lighting of the Christmas tree!

When?

Sunday, December 6th! The event will start at 5 PM, and Santa will make is grand appearance at 5:20.

Where?

The Holiday Tree Lighting will take place at Fletcher Cove Park in Solana Beach, located at 111 South Sierra Avenue.

 

HOPPY YOGA AT CULTURE BREWING CO.

Who says you can’t be healthy, and enjoy a good microbrew at the same time? You may not typically think about combining these two activities, but after reading this you’ll be glad someone did!

Who?

Lynne Officer is the yoga instructor for Hoppy Yoga classes at Culture! Read what Lynne has to say about teaching yoga at breweries!

What?

A 75 minute yoga class for yogis of all levels! After your session is over, you can stay and chat with those in your class while you sip on a full pour of any of Culture Brewing Company’s delicious beers.

When?

You can attend Hoppy Yoga every Sunday at 10:30 AM. Classes cost just 20$! Walk-ins are welcome.

Where?

Culture Brewing Co. in the middle of the Cedros Design District, 111 South Cedros Avenue in Solana Beach.

Why?

Because where else can you Downward Facing Dog and try a new IPA under the same roof?
