How do I make a reservation?
For your convenience, you can create a reservation through our website. Browse our vacation rentals for your perfect fit and if you need any assistance, contact our friendly reservations team at 858-339-4381.
Once we confirm the details of your reservation, we will send you an electronic rental agreement for your review and completion.
How and when do I pay?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Once we have received your completed rental. We require 50% of the total payment due at the time of booking in order to reserve your requested property. Please note that no reservation is confirmed until we receive BOTH the signed rental agreement and the 50% of your total payment. The remaining 50% balance is due 60 days prior to your arrival date.
Please note, if you are reserving a stay within 48 hours of your desired arrival date, P.S. Platinum may require additional documentation to confirm your booking.
What is the cancellation policy?
As stated in our rental agreement terms “If I (WE) cancel our reservation more than 60 days prior to the occupancy date, the deposit is fully refundable minus a $350 cancellation fee and 4% credit card processing fee (if applicable). If I (WE) cancel 60 days or less prior to the occupancy date, P.S. Platinum will make every attempt to re-book MY (OUR) Reservation. If the P.S. Platinum re-rents the property for the dates of MY (OUR) reservation at full price, I (WE) will receive 100% of the deposit back minus the $350 cancellation fee and 4% credit card processing fee (if applicable).
If necessary, P.S. Platinum may re-rent the property for the dates of MY (OUR) reservation at a discounted rate in order to secure a last-minute reservation. In this case, I (WE) will receive a refund based on this discounted rate minus the $350 cancellation fee and a 4% credit card processing fee (if applicable). If P.S. Platinum is unable to re-rent the property for the dates of MY (OUR) reservation and the cancellation occurred 60 days or less prior to the occupancy date, the deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellations to multi-week reservations are subject to the same policy, however, a cancellation fee of 10% of the total rental rate is applicable in lieu of the $350 cancellation fee.
Partial cancellations to reservations of one calendar month or longer that result in a night count that is less than one full calendar month are subject to Transient Occupancy tax, in addition to the policies outlined above.
Are there additional fees?
Yes, in addition to the rental rate, there may be additional fees such as cleaning fees, damage waiver fees, and taxes. These fees will be clearly displayed during the booking process, so you know the total cost upfront.
The damage fee is taken in lieu of a larger refundable security deposit and is non-refundable. This fee offers you, our guest, as well as the owner of the home protection against accidental damages, up to $2,000. Please note, a refundable cash security deposit cannot be accepted in lieu of this fee, as this protection plan is designed to simplify the claim process, if a claim must be made, for the owner of the home.
What amenities are included in the rental?
All of our homes are equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, parking, fully equipped kitchens, and all linens and terry. Upon arrival, you will also be provided a starter set of cleaning products, toiletries, and paper products. Please review the property listing for specific details.
What is the check-in and check-out process?
Most of our homes offer self-check-in and check-out. This means that you are free to arrive at the property anytime after 4PM on your arrival date and check out anytime before 10AM on your departure date. Although we inspect the property after each departure, we encourage you to inspect the property when you arrive to ensure that there was no major damage done by the previous guests that you could be held responsible for. If you do notice any serious damage done to the property, please contact our team. Each property has individual check-in details, which will be emailed to approximately one week prior to your arrival date.
What if I need assistance during my stay?

Is travel insurance recommended?
While travel insurance is not mandatory, we highly recommend it to protect your investment in case of unexpected circumstances or emergencies. Travel insurance can provide coverage for trip cancellations, medical expenses, and other unforeseen events. We suggest consulting with a reputable insurance provider for suitable coverage options – our team would be happy to make some recommendations.
Do you have a minimum age policy?
Yes, we require all renters to be at least 25 years of age.
Can I bring my pet with me?
The pet policy varies from home to home. You will find this policy included in the property details for each home. All pet-friendly properties require a non-refundable pet fee.
Can I host an event at a property?
Each property is individually owned and it is at the owner’s discretion to allow any “event” hosted at the property during your stay. Events include but are not limited to: weddings, ceremonies, receptions, birthday parties, family reunions, and any other large gathering that exceeds the predetermined maximum occupancy of each individual property. All events must be pre-approved with P.S. Platinum Vacation Rentals prior to reservation confirmation. Failure to do so will result in immediate eviction with no refund.
